The Swan Stealth Manual Air Fryer offers fast and efficient cooking with its 1500W motor and 60-minute timer. It has adjustable temperature controls and a large 1.6kg capacity, making it ideal for families.

I wanted to include this in my listings as I am a big fan of Swan Stealth as I own their kettle, toaster and microwave (click on each to see my review) however, on this one, for me it’s just not big enough – I would vote for a dual zone and more capacity. This is a great choice though if you have smaller demands and want it to look great on your side without taking up too much space!

Here Are Some Key Factors to Consider When Purchasing a New Black Air Fryer:

  • Capacity: Consider how much food you’ll be cooking at once. If you have a large family, you’ll want an air fryer with a larger basket size.
  • Wattage: Higher wattage units heat up faster and cook food more efficiently (great!), but they also consume more electricity (not so great!).
  • Features and Functions: Look for features like temperature control, timers, and multiple cooking functions like grilling, baking, and roasting.
  • Footprint: Make sure you have enough worktop space for the air fryer, as they can be quite bulky.
  • Ease of Cleaning: Opt for models with removable, dishwasher-safe parts for easier cleanup.
  • Price: High-end models come with additional features, but there are also budget-friendly options that perform basic tasks well.
  • Brand Reputation: Check customer reviews and ratings to get an idea of the brand’s reliability and performance.
  • Warranty and Customer Service: Ensure there is a good warranty and that customer service is accessible and responsive (I can personally vouch for Swan).
  • Noise Level: Some air fryers can be noisy, so check reviews to see if noise is a concern for you.
  • Additional Accessories: Some models come with extra accessories like skewers or grill racks, which can be a nice bonus.
